2012 will be the year...

That I stop giving in to buying a coffee larger than my head every morning.
It will also be the year that I stop ignoring pension schemes and savings, and the year that I get more haircuts and buy a bike. Oh and that I write a lot more of these!
So far, not so good, but what I have managed to do is buy a lamp from eBay and successfully attend several fantastic birthdays in one weekend. Which is really quite enough for a couple of weeks I think.
One said birthday this weekend reminded me of why London nightlife - so often overpriced and disappointing in January - can be utterly great. A free night next to Old Street tube station with cheap drinks, but more importantly five hours of amazing music. For those of you who haven't, take a trip to Southern Hospitality at CAMP for a night of hip hop classics and the occasional slow jam thrown in. And for those of you who can't make it go the website for the DJ collective's 10-year Aaliyah (R.I.P) mix http://www.southernhospitality.co.uk/blog/, which will give you an idea.
Don't worry about dressing up and leave the heels at home. You'll be dancing too much to care anyway.
